This Pipe Repair disturbs the ground as little as possible and gives the best Results
A Wedge, made from heat treated Steel is pulled through the old Pipe. As it is pulled through the Pipe, it either pushes the old Pipe out (Lead or Galvanized Pipe), or it splits the old Pipe (Plastic or PVC or ABS). While raveling through it pulls the new Pipe right behind it, and so the Ground is disturbed as little as possible. The only Points where any digging is done, is at the entry and the exit points.
